Displacer level transmitter
The displacer level transmitter is an advanced measurement device used to determine the level of liquids and gases in tanks and reservoirs. This device operates based on the principle of liquid displacement; meaning that when the displacer is placed in the liquid, any change in the liquid level results in a volume of liquid being displaced, which is directly related to that level. These changes are converted into electrical signals using specific mechanisms, which can be transmitted to control and monitoring systems. In other words, the displacer level transmitter allows us to measure the levels of liquids or gases with high accuracy and in real-time, facilitating the optimization of industrial processes.

LTD series are displacer level transmitters that include two models of LDT60 and LDT08.
Both models are two-wire, loop-powered instruments utilizing simple buoyancy principle to detect and convert liquid level changes into a stable output
signal.
In LTD60 model, Changes of liquid level in the vessel cause the displacer, which is supported on a spring, torise or fall.
A magnetic element is connected to the displacer via the spring and moves linearly up and down sensed by a special magnetic sensor to provide a
signal. It is as an input of a transducer to generate the final output signal.
LTD08 model is a torque tube displacement type level transmitter. Changes in level or specific gravity exert a buoyant force on a displacer, which rotates the torque
tube shaft.
This rotary motion causes the movement of a magnetic element which is sensed by a special magnetic sensor to provide a signal. It is as an input of
a transducer to generate the final output signal.
